David Grim is a strategic and visionary Creative Director with over two decades of experience transforming complex business goals into bold, brand-elevating creative solutions. With a career that spans global luxury retail and financial services, David combines operational rigor with a sharp creative eye, aligning business outcomes with brand storytelling—building high-performing teams, delivering cross-channel impact, and shaping narratives that drive revenue, recognition, and results.
Currently, David leads Creative Services for a global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm, where he has architected a groundbreaking Client First / Creative Partnership model. Under his leadership, the team has evolved from a small, executional unit into a trusted strategic partner—now operating globally across New York, London, Hong Kong, and India, providing 24/7 creative coverage that aligns with the firm’s most critical transactions and client communications. His creative vision and operational acumen helped secure a six-year contract renewal and double-digit revenue growth year over year.
Previously, as Vice President of Brand Presentation at Ralph Lauren, David revolutionized the customer journey through brand experience design, experiential marketing, visual merchandising, and retail storytelling. He helped launch new global labels, redefined in-store environments, and led creative development for everything from marketing campaigns to music, employee wardrobe, and event production. His leadership extended to producing executive summits, flagship store openings, and high-profile brand moments—always with a focus on elevating the customer connection.
David is more than a creative force—he is a builder of teams, culture, and capability. His leadership philosophy is rooted in mentorship, clarity of vision, and the belief that great creative work comes from empowered, inclusive teams. A long-time DEI advocate, David served on the Global DEI Council at Ralph Lauren and was named Co-Chair of the DEI Americas Committee at Williams Lea in 2022. Today, he continues to lead initiatives that integrate DEI into recruitment, recognition, and leadership development strategies.
